With his staff of Gemological Institute of America (GIA) trained Graduate Gemologists and his state of the art Gemological Laboratory you are assured of an accurate and in-depth appraisals of your fine jewelry. Diamond reports include scanned in color photographs and plotting (a map of your diamond) which is essential for identification purposes.

Not only will Steven appraise your jewelry, he and his staff will explain every step of the appraisal process while you watch. Your jewelry never needs to leave your sight. In addition to insurance appraisals, we also offer estate appraisals for inheritance purposes, donation appraisals, pre-purchase evaluations, and evaluations to assist you in selling your gems. Jewelry Appraisal Services also offers jewelry repair by an expert goldsmith and watch repairs by a certified watch maker, to assist you with any repairs that your jewelry or watches may need.

The most needed, unknown and unexpected service offered by Steven and his staff is education seminars. Purchasing a diamond or gemstone is a big investment, Steven can teach you what to look for in terms of the fabled "4 C's" and what they really mean, how to buy colored gemstones and what the trade terminology means. Steven's services can even include going with you to the jeweler while you make the final selection of gemstones. This way you have an expert at your side who has nothing to gain by your choice of gemstones, his only concern will be that you are getting the gemstone that best fits your wants and desires.
